This was the lowest grossing IKF "Sanctioned" show in IKF history and in the state of California.
The promoter who was from Fresno California (Southern CA) was paid a very good fee by the Casino to put on this event for them to draw people to their new casino. However, the matchmaking selection in regards to where these fighters came from was a terrible decision. The promoter brought in no local fighters from the Sacramento area. Instead, 6 of the 10 fighters booked were from Southern California and the others were still far from local. Because of this, there was NO local draw for local fighters which added to the events failure because the promoter spent little if any money on any event advertising.

The low spectator number was also hurt due to this being an outdoor event, in a tent during a pretty strong rain storm with water running through the tent and under the ring. The Casino was called Cache Creek Indian Bingo & Casino and the standing joke of the night was that on this night, Cache Creek was running under the ring...

    Hong Phet Inthavong
    (159 - Fresno, CA - 4-1-1) defeated Toshiyuki Nakagawa (152 - Van Nuys, CA - 2-5) by TKO at :36 of Round 1.

  5. Main Event
This title bout was not sanctioned by the IKF. The reason was not because the fighters were not good enough to fight for an IKF title but because the IKF already had a champion in this weight division and the promoter was told by the IKF to tell the 2 fighters to weigh-in at 124 pounds or below. However, the promoter did not relay this message to the fighters or take the IKF seriously. Because of this, this was not an IKF sanctioned title bout, however it was an IKF sanctioned bout.
    Alvaro Aguiar (125 - Santa Monica, CA - 7-1-1) defeated Keopheth Sychanthavong (125 - Fresno, CA - 8-4) by Unanimous Decision, 48-47, 49-46 and 48-47.
