On Saturday, October 8th, 2011 at the The Oakland Convention Center adjacent to the Marriott Hotel, the room will be transformed into a magnificent fight arena that will showcase some of the best Muay Thai Kickboxers in the country!

IKF Muay Thai Kickboxing events have become popular for fight fans as they cram into venues around the country! This will be the largest Muay Thai Kickboxing show in the Bay Area in some time and fight fans are already clamoring to get their tickets to this world class event!

For those unfamiliar with the sport of Muay Thai and Kickboxing, the East Wing of the Oakland Convention Center will be the place to be on Saturday, October 8th because the seats will be packed with enthusiast fight fans to witness what is one of the best contact sports in the world! Fighters use their boxing and kicking techniques as well as knees and elbows to score on their opponent in all standup, knockout action!

San Francisco's own current IKF United States Welterweight Champion
T.J. Arcangel will be fighting for the IKF World Title against number one world contender and
2010 IKF World Classic Tournament Champion, John Hamm of Alberta Canada!

Plus, Sacramento native and current
IKF World Champion Jon "The Hawk" Pryor
will be defending his title against number one contender and undefeated Skylr Pena of San Francisco.

San Leandro's Bell Tran will be taking on
Vallejo's Ron Jacildo for the vacant
IKF California Bantamweight Championship!

And 2011 IKF World Classic Tournament Champion
Nemo Vier
of Fairfield will battle against undefeated Dee Alhadi of San Jose for the
IKF Lightweight Title.

The fight card is scheduled to have 15 exciting bouts of some of the best fighters in the State! Feet and Fists will fly and continue to exhibit the great athleticism, art and fury of IKF Muay Thai Kickboxing! This Las Vegas style event complete with alcoholic beverages, beautiful ring girls, great music and food will be a big bang and boost to Oakland's entertainment scene! The fights are under the authority of the California Athletic Commission and sanctioned of course by the International Kickboxing Federation (IKF) the largest sanctioning body in the world for the sport of kickboxing.

A. K. Promotions has been promoting a series of events across the state at venues like Thunder Valley Casino, The Doubletree and Radisson Hotel of Sacramento, CA. They will also be hosting in conjunction with the International Kickboxing Federation (IKF) one of the largest kickboxing events in the United States on November 25, 26th and 27th at the Radission Hotel in Sacramento. Over 200 fighters from around the globe are expected to attend the First Annual, 2011 IKF West Coast Classic International Amateur Muay Thai / Kickboxing Championships on November 25th, 26th & 27th, 2011 at the Radisson Hotel in Sacramento, California.
