  • IKF Event Representative: Robin Finley
  • Promoter: Mr. Mike Miles at (403) 208-1296 or by e-mail at mike@mikemiles.com

To start off 2015, Mike Miles promoted 'FULLY LOADED' continuing his Canadian Challenger MuayThai Series. The successful event was sold out.

SEMI-MAIN EVENT
IKF Amateur MuayThai North American Bantamweight Title

'Super' Max Carruthers (Calgary/Miles.Eak) vs. Zachary 'Fast' Lane (Orlando, USA/Marfort).
A very entertaining bout to watch. The first few rounds opened evenly with both athletes scoring with initial and counter shots. Carruthers tried to get close to use the clinch and elbow but Lane proved adept at avoiding the clinch from the Canadian.

In round three Carruthers really picked up his work rate and used fakes, tiips, and roundhouses at all levels to keep Lane on the defensive and less able to counter. The final round had a very strong work rate from Carruthers with his kicks and straight punches to pretty much keep Lane shut out in the countering department.

In the end, Max Carruthers was declared winner by unanimous decision and owner of the IKF Amateur MuayThai North American Bantamweight Title.

MAIN EVENT
PRO International Welterweight Prestige Bout

Former IKF World Classic champion Hakeem 'Ice' Dawodu (Calgary/Miles, Eak) took on Charles 'Charlie Boy' Peters (London, UK/Keddle) in an exciting Pro MuayThai International Welterweight Prestige Bout.

Round One
The bout opened with both athletes testing each others range, strength, and weaknesses. As would be the case during the majority of the rounds, Dawodu was to press the action. The Canadian was to throw fourteen kicks landing five, while Peters was to throw thirteen kicks, landing only one. Peters threw four punches that landed. Dawodu was to land four punches, an elbow and two knees. A low kick in this round was to send Peters who was stepping in to punch, to the canvas. At the end of the round during a quick clinch Peters was to sweep the Canadian to the ground. The weight of the round would have went to the Canadian.

Round Two
The bout continued with Dawodu pressing the action. Dawodu threw seven kicks landing two while Peters threw seven kicks landing none (as they were avoided or blocked). Both athletes landed the same percentage of knees. Peters managed to land five punches and one elbow. Dawodu was to land eight punches, one which sent Peters flying backwards and connect with two elbows. During the clinch Dawodu was able to sweep Peters to the ground. A second sweep in the clinch had Peters putting his gloves on the canvas to avoid falling. The weight of the round would have been given to the Canadian again.

Round Three
The two were now starting to pick up the action. Though into the opening of this round, Peters groin cup would need to be refitted. Dawodu delivered eight kicks landing four one to the head of Peters while Peters threw eleven kicks only landing three, one of which was a fast low kick to head kick that just grazed the Canadians cheek. Peters was to fire and land seven punches, while Dawodu was to land eighteen punches. Dawodu was to sweep and throw the Englishman to the canvas again during this round. Peters landed one solid knee while Dawodu landed four knees and three elbows. Again the round would have weighed in favor of the Canadian.

Round Four
Heading into the important rounds, Dawodu continued to press outscoring the British athlete. Peters threw thirteen kicks landing four while Dawodu delivered fourteen kicks landing seven. Peters landed eight knees and one elbow. Dawodu pressed landing six knees and a solid elbow. Dawodu landing eleven punches, one really sending Peters off balance while Peters landed two solid punches. The round would have been given to Dawodu for the pressure and scoring.

Round Five
Dawodu was firmly ahead now and all he had to do was control the distance scoring defensively. Dawodu decided to press as did Peters for a short time at the beginning of the round. Dawodu was very aggressive throwing sixteen kicks landing six solidly, while Peters threw nine kicks with none landing cleanly. The British athlete delivered six knees while Dawodu landed the same amount. Peters landed one punch during this round while Dawodu landed nine solid punches. Dawodu landed three elbows, one which was very solid and Peters landed an elbow two seconds before the final bell. The strike was not called a knockdown. Dawodu sprung back immediately to his feet when the final bell rang. The bout ended and the British felt the blow was a knockdown which was not called by the referee. This was to prove to be a controversial point with the British who put in a protest and had it reviewed by the Canadian Commission. The bout and its decision was not over turned. Peters and coach Kieran Keddle have offered a rematch in England. Great fight by the way.

IN THE UNDERCARD BOUTS OF THE NIGHT

  1. Lightweight MuayThai Bout
Fawzul Sharafuddin (Calgary/Han) VS Josh Crowell (Saskatoon/Mah)
The opening bout started the evening off with a good fight. At the beginning of the bout, Crowell was itching to exchange with Sharafuddin. But Sharafuddin came out strong and everything he threw had mean intentions on the blows. In the second round Sharafuddin caught Crowell with a few strong straight lefts. Finally a solid knee from Sharafuddin finished the fight.
Fawzul Sharafuddinwas the winner of the bout by 2nd round TKO.

  2. Women's Super Flyweight MuayThai Bout
Lindsay Holmes (Calgary/Miles, Eak, Bastian) VS Cassie Warbeck (Calgary/Sukys)
The only women's match of the evening featured athletes from Calgary gyms. Holmes knew her range well used the tiip and left jab to keep her slightly taller opponent at bay. When Warbeck would try and get close, Holmes transitioned to the clinch and used the knee effectively. As the fight progressed Warbeck was having more difficulty trying to strike her opponent while Holmes continued setting the pace and keeping Warbeck where she wanted. Was a very good and highly spirited fight from both.
The judges declared Lindsay Holmes winner by Unanimous Decision..

  3. Mens Super Welterweight MuayThai Bout
    Dylan O'Toole (Calgary/Gentile) VS James Ricks (Edmonton/Lee)
In the opening of the bout Ricks was to pressure forward with strong punches and low kicks. O'toole was dropped by a kick to the body. However as the bout progressed, a blow from Ricks fouled O'toole who went down and was given a chance to recover. As the bout wore on, Ricks started looking a little more tired while O'toole stayed on the outside and used long range blows to keep the shorter Ricks from moving in. The bout was very close.
The bout was declared a Draw.

  4. Super Light Heavyweight MuayThai Bout
Dylan Bastian (Calgary/Miles, Eak, Bastian) VS James Nelson (Saskatoon/Mah)
A good showing from both athletes in this bout. Bastian was to remain very calm in this bout. He used his clinch and knees to nullify Nelson's punches. Nelson tried for a comeback in the final round and landed a few good punches but Bastian remained composed and controlled the fight.
Dylan Bastian was declared the winner of the bout by Unanimous Decision.

  5. International Super Welterweight MuayThai Prestige Bout
Blake Weigel (Calgary/Miles, Eak) VS Andrew Rivera (Orlando, USA/ Marfort)
Great technique from both athletes. Rivera was to deliver some really nice kicks and punches. The shorter Weigel was to control the gap between the two athletes. He was quite effective making Rivera miss but when the American did land Weigel was to use his right low kick to counter and score. Weigel's effectiveness was transitioning from punches to kicks and vice versa. The combinations allowed Weigel to put Rivera on the defense. Rivera fought back strongly and smartly initiating most of the attacks.
Blake Weigel won by Split Decision.

  6. International Heavyweight MuayThai Prestige Bout
Nolan Shergold (Airdrie/Bellegarde, Cofre) VS Salvador Ulises Gajardo Lopez (Chile/Marfort)
The most obvious difference between the two fighters was the height of each athlete. Shergold seemed to tower over Lopez. At the beginning of this bout Lopez was to kick out Shergold's legs dropping the Canadian to the canvas a few times. However as the fight progressed, Shergold figured out to swarm in and not give his shorter foe the room to try and take his legs out. When they both engaged in the clinch Shergold knew how to drop and center his weight to avoid any sweeps from the Chilean athlete. The Chilean athletes started to get tired while Shergold continued swarming and striking.
WINNER: Nolan Shergold won by Unanimous Decision.

  7. International Super Middleweight MuayThai Prestige Bout
Scott 'Smash' MacKenzie (Calgary/Miles. Eak) VS Jeremy 'Triple Crown' Milbourn (Houston, USA/Corley, Kunstman).
The slightly taller Milbourn came to fight and it showed. At the beginning of each round Milbourn would press from the bell. Mackenzie would throw his blows and land but Milbourn was intent on moving forward and throwing his own leather. Mackenzie proved to be stronger in the clinch landing some strong elbows and knees and bending the American over trying to land knees to the head. However when Milbourn was to get hit, he was to immediately come forward and continue pressing the Canadian. In the third round post clinch Milbourn came forward and walked into a vicious left spinning back fist that dropped the American for the count and beyond. "I have so many contradictory feelings when someone gets KO'd" said Mackenzie's coach Mike Miles. "It is an undeniable ending and win to the victor but it also scares me and hopes the opponent is OK. Though this is a combative sport, I do not want to see athletes get hurt in a way that will affect them in the future. Milbourn has really good skills and is a real gentleman. He is impressive."
WINNER: Scott Mackenzie by 3rd round KO.

IKF Stars On Big Shows!

Abraham Han of El Paso, Texas, USA was a three time IKF Tournament Champion who has made his mark in Professional Boxing.

On February 6th, "Abie" as many know him in Boxing, will fight a 12 round title bout on on ESPN against Sergio Mora (Pro Boxing: 27-3-2 with 9 knockouts) of Los Angeles at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, Mississippi, USA.

The bout comes on short notice for Han (Pro Boxing: 23-1 with 14 knockouts) The bout will be one of ESPN "Friday Night Fights" affair that will be for the vacant USBA Middleweight Title.

"I'm very excited," Han said in his interview with Bill Knight of the El Paso Times. "This is a big shot at a big name opponent. I only have two weeks to prepare but, hopefully, I can do well and get a world title shot. I'm ready for this. These opportunities don't come around very often. To be honest, I'd take it even if I wasn't ready (laughter)."

"Only someone who lives the kind of lifestyle Abie lives could do this," Han's trainer Louie Burke said in his interview with Bill Knight of the El Paso Times. "It's a Spartan lifestyle. Abie doesn't drink, he's always training, always teaching in his dad's karate school, always active. He doesn't have an ounce of body fat. It's a challenge. But I think Abie can do this."

Jermaine Taylor, the IBF Middleweight Champion, was originally supposed to fight Mora in Biloxi. But he has run into difficulties with the law and his career appears in jeopardy.

"They are talking about making this fight a title eliminator," Burke said. "That hasn't been finalized yet, but whoever wins this fight could get a chance to fight for the vacant world title."

Han last fought in October, taking an impressive win over Marcos Reyes, a fighter who came in with a 32-1 record.

Han said, "I've been training and I'm ready and I just have to stay focused. You have to begin working on Mora's style now. You have to go in with confidence and you have to make the adjustments when you get there. It's a chess match. Sergio is a smart, defensive, awkward, in-and-out type of fighter. I'll have to do whatever I can to make him feel uncomfortable."

Han first became known to the IKF when he made his IKF Kickboxing Debut at the 2005 IKF North American Classic in Orlando, Florida, USA on August 19th, 20th & 21st. It was there that Han first impressed us taking home the Tournaments Light Middleweight (153.1 lbs to 159 lbs.) International Rules Title.Han (AKB: 77-12, AB: 51-22) defeated Michael Bernard of Durham, North Carolina, USA by TKO at 42 seconds of round 2.

We next saw him at the 2006 IKF World Classic in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA on July 28th, 29th & 30th. There he defended his Middleweight Title but sadly for us all, it was by walkover. Han's scheduled opponent was placed in the IR Division by mistake. Although this error was not discovered by his opponents trainer prior to weigh-ins, the IKF made the decision at weigh-ins to move Han's lone opponent where he had registered in the Muay Thai Division. Because of the error the IKF awarded him a "Walkover" title.

The following year at the 2007 IKF World Classic Tournament in Orlando, Florida, USA on August 12th, 11th & 12th, Han was back to once again defend his title. However this year he had to move down a weightclass to the Light Middleweight. Once again, Abraham Han of El Paso, Texas, USA (81-12) took home another IKF title when he defeated Brunon Sokolowski of Skareysko - Kam, Poland by unanimous decision, 30-27, 30-27 & 29-28.

Abraham Han wasn't the only Han we were introduced to through those years. Along with Abie, he had 3 winning sisters as well.

His sister Jennifer Han (Right) has moved into professional boxing with him and is currently Ranked 11 in the world and 3 in the USA in the featherweight division, she holds a professional boxing record of 11-3-1/1.

Jennifer won her first IKF Title at the 2006 IKF World Classic. There she took home the International Rules Lightweight (121.1 lbs. - 132 lbs.) Title when she defeated Elizabeth Nagy of Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota, USA by unanimous decision 30-27 on all 3 judges cards.

At the 2007 IKF World Classic Tournament she moved up a weightclass and defeated Brittany Brown of Lenox, Georgia, USA by TKO at :42 seconds of round 1.

His other 2 sisters, Stephanie Han (Left) and Heather Han (Left) were also 2 Time IKF Tournament Champions. Both won their titles in 2005 and 2006.

At the 2006 IKF World Classic Stephanie took home the International Rules Super Lightweight ( 130.1 lbs. - 137 lbs.) title for Junior Girls ages 14-15 Year Old when she defeated Natalya Speece of San Diego, California, USA by unanimous decision 30-26, 30-26 & 29-27. Heather took home the Full Contact Rules Atomweight (102.1 lbs. - 109 lbs) Junior Girls Title, also for 14-15 Year Olds when she defeated Laryssa Zarate of Elgin, Illinois, USA by majority decision 28-28, 30-27 & 30-27.

At the 2007 IKF World Classic Tournament Stephanie took home the Lightweight title (130.1 lbs. - 140 lbs.) for ages 15-16 when she defeated Alyssa Defazio of Wittmann, Arizona, USA by Split decision 29-28, 30-28 & 28-29.

Heather took home the Full Contact Rules Bantamweight (110.1 lbs. - 120 lbs.) title for ages 16-17 when she defeated Danielle Byrne of Chicago, Illinois, USA by unanimous decision, 29-25 on all 3 judges cards.

But Wait... There's MORE...

Few here on the IKF Pages need to be reminded of who Stephen "Wonderboy" Thompson of Simpsonville, South Carolina, USA is.

Thompson retired as an amateur fighter in May of 2004 with a record of 37 wins and 0 losses with 18 KO/TKO's. As an Amateur Kickboxer he won 16 Amateur Titles (6 of them with the IKF) which included every possible IKF title up to the IKF Amateur World Title. They are...

Thompson went through his Pro Kickboxing career undefeated as well. However, with few opportunities in Kickboxing, Thompson and his trainer/father Ray Thompson decided it was time to make a change of fight sports... Thompson dove into MMA.

Thompson rattled off 5 straight wins going 5-0 before he got that that most MMA fighters long for, the call from the UFC. When the opportunity came, "The Wonderboy" didn't disappoint either.

Thompson made sure he would not be forgotten as just another UFC debut fighter that simply won or lost his bout and moved on. For over 4 minutes of the first round, it appeared Thompson was never even touched by his opponent, 31 year old Daniel Stittgen (7-2 Pro, 2-0 Amateur MMA) of Schaumburg, Illinois as Thompson seemed to land his strikes at will. Just after the 4 minute mark of round 1, Thompson picked up his "Front" Right Leg and slapped Stittgen across the neck and jaw and dropped him like rock. The referee was quick to stop Thompson from moving in and good thing he did as Stittgen was OUT COLD at 4:13 of round 1. The win brought Thompson's Pro MMA record to a PERFECT 6-0, which when added to his kickboxing record of 51-0 brings him to a perfect 57-0.

Thompson has improved his Pro MMA record to 10-1 with his only loss coming from ISCF Eastern Regional Champion Matt Brown. Brown defeated Thompson back in April of 2012 on UFC 145 by unanimous decision. Since the bout Brown has went 5-1 and Thompson has went 4-0. Many are sure these two will meet somewhere down the road again. However, for Thompson, his focus is on his bouts promotion to the Main Event at at the UFC Fight Night 60 this coming February 14, 2015 at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

A welterweight bout between Matt Brown and Tarec Saffiedine had been scheduled as the main event. However, on January 1, the UFC announced that Saffiedine had pulled out of the bout, citing a groin injury he sustained in training. On January 13, Brown was pulled from the event in favor of a matchup with former UFC Welterweight Champion Johny Hendricks at UFC 185. Subsequently the welterweight bout between Thompson and Brandon Thatch was promoted to the main event.

The bout puts Thompson right back in the same position he was for his first UFC bout when those words of Abraham Lincoln kept echoing in his head, "I will prepare and some day my chance will come."...

February 14, 2015 is yet "Another" one of those chances for "The Wonderboy". Hopefully he takes advantage of it as he has every one before it.

Oh No... Wait... There's Even MORE...

Felice "Lil' Bulldog" Herrig
(9-4 MMA) of Crystal Lake, Illinois, USA
has been getting a lot of airtime with her MMA Skills. However, we will always remember her where she got her start in fight sports, as a kickboxer.

It was even long before she was victorious over a Thailand Champion in the series Fight Girls, in 2007 which was a reality series on the Oxygen network that followed a group of women Muay Thai fighters vying for greatness in Thailand's national sport.

On November 15, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois, USA Felice won the IKF Pro Muay Thai United States Bantamweight Title when she defeated Katie Meehan by unanimous decision, 49-46, 48-47 and 49-46. Herring still holds her IKF Pro Title and has never been challenged for it.

She also enjoyed a stint fighting in Chuck Norris' now-defunct kickboxing promotion, World Combat League.

It was as an Amateur fighter though where we first got to know Felice. As an Amateur she won 2 IKF Amateur Classic Tournament Titles

She won the 2005 IKF North American Classic Amateur Tournament in Orlando, Florida, USA on August 21st when she defeated Terri French of Little Rock, Arkansas, USA by unanimous decision 30-27 on all 3 judges cards.

In 2006 she won the 2006 IKF World Classic Tournament in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA on July 30th when she defeated Stacy Chung of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada by unanimous decision 29-28 on all 3 judges cards.

However, more may know her as a Professional MMA Fighter with a record of 10-5 who has fought for promotions such as Bellator, Invicta, WFC and several others. She was probably most seen on the recent UFC series 'A Champion Will Be Crowned' (Also known as The Ultimate Fighter 20). Although she lost Quarter-final to Randa Markos, she came back to win a bout on 'UFC - The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale' against Lisa Ellis.

Felice will get more airtime on the upcoming FOX UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Rockhold card in New Jersey this coming April 18th. Felice will be one of the women fighters featured in what is sure to be a shootout / showdown in the women's strawweight division. Felice will meet up with a fighter we know through the IKF's sister organization, the ISCF, Paige VanZant.

We first saw the scrappy Paige when she was a ring girl at Rick Collup's ISCF Sanctioned Ultimate Reno Combat event in Reno, Nevada. However, a walk in the ring with a cardboard number sign wasn't enough for Paige. She wanted to give the fighting a try.

On April 13th, 2012 in Reno, Nevada on Rick Collup's "Ultimate Reno Combat 32", Paige made her MMA debut. It didn't take long as she defeated Morgan Hunter of Sacramento, California (Also making her debut) by Tapout due to Rear Naked Choke at :50 seconds of round 1.

It was only a little over 2 months later that she found herself already making her Pro Debut and defeating Jordan Gaza by Split Decision. Paige's Pro fight record now sits at record of 4-1, a far cry from the experience Felice has in the ring and the cage. Felice has been a pro MMA fighter since Paige was 14 years old. Felice has 15 career MMA fights which don't include her Kickboxing and Muay Thai fight record which is 23-5 with 4 wins by KO/TKO.

Most out there are saying the hype on this bout is not the skills but their looks more. For example, Paige, a model and dancer, was searched more than 100,000 times on Google after her victory in November over Kailin Curran. That eclipsed the totals of many past UFC headliners. And her bout appeared on UFC Fight Pass --not even cable.

Felice too has been noticed for her looks, most likely due to her aggressive photo marketing work she has done. Unlike Paige, Felice is very active on social media. Still, don't let their looks fool ya. These two come to the ring with two important factors, Passion and SKILL!

However, bonding both Felice and Paige will be a common opponent both have lost to, Tecia Torres. Paige's only loss and one of Felice's losses both came from former "MULTI" time IKF Champion Tecia Torres (Left)

Tecia defeated Paige at Invicta FC 4 on January 5th, 2013 by unanimous decision and she defeated Felice at Invicta FC 7 back on December 7th, 2013, again by unanimous decision.

Felice Herrig and Paige VanZant will face off for battle on April 18 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Malachi Cash Of Simpsonville, South Carolina, USA Is the FIRST Fighter to register to compete in the 2015 IKF World Classic.

This won't be his first IKF bout, let alone his first IKF title either. This past October Cash won the IKF East Coast Muay Thai Kickboxing Classic in Dillon, South Carolina, when he defeated Nicholai Ramdass of Trinidad & Tobago by KO at :08 of Round 2.

Last year the first to register for the 2014 IKF World Classic was Adult Men's American Full Contact Style Fighter Jordan Navarro of Orange Park, Florida, USA. Jordan went on to win the IKF World Classic Welterweight Title when he defeated Sardor Sodikov of Brooklyn, New York, USA by unanimous decision, 30-28, 30-27 & 29-28.

The year before, Katrina Nahe was the First to register for the 2013 IKF World Classic! That year, Katrina went on to win the IKF Junior Women's International Rules Featherweight Tournament title when she defeated Danika Thibault of Sycamore, Illinois, USA by unanimous decision 30-27 on all 3 judges cards.

Once Again...

Don "The DRAGON" Wilson
Will Be In The House At The
2015 IKF World Classic!

The Dragon After He Won His
IKF World Title in 1999!
- His 11th World Title!-

With the excitement of his new upcoming Movie, "The Martial Arts Kid (TMK)", Don "The Dragon" Wilson has been globe trotting all around the world the past several years.

The Martial Arts Kid is an Action /Family movie about a troubled teen from Cleveland (Jansen Panettiere) who experiences bullying in Cocoa Beach, Florida. He soon learns Martial Arts to gain confidence and self defense skills.

The film is directed by Michael Baumgarten and was written by Michael Baumgarten and Adam W. Marsh. Wilson is one of the stars of the film which also includes Martial Arts Star Cynthia 'Lady Dragon' Rothrock.

For a trailer of the film click
HERE.

Here is an additional short teaser made for and played at the 2014 Comic Con in San Diego. The film addresses the serious issue of bullying and raises the issue of responsibility that martial arts instructors should have for their students. The film represents all martial arts rather than a single style. Click HERE

Since work on The Martial Arts Kid Don has been working on other films set to debut in 2015 or still in production such as;

  • Killing the Seeds
  • The Masters Legacy
  • The Reel Deal (TV Series)
  • Devotion (pre-production)
  • White Tiger (post-production)
  • One More Round (post-production)
  • Marta Steel
  • The Scorpion King 4: Quest for Power
  • The Whole World at Our Feet

His film schedule is not the only thing getting him out of the house and on a plane. Don has been hoping around the world this past year doing special Martial Arts appearances and Martial Arts and Kickboxing seminars crisscrossing the USA and jumping around from continent to continent.

With all this, we are once again proud to announce
"The Dragon" will take time out of his whirlwind schedule to be
In The House At This Years
2015 IKF World Classic.

A little more about "The Dragon"...
In 1999 at 45 years of age, Don won his IKF World Title on May 15th, 1999 in Lowell, Massachusetts, USA, when he defeated Dick Kimber. (Lynn, Massachusetts, USA PRO: 23-3/21, AM: 25-0/25 5'9" 197 ) Kimber swore to everyone that he'd have the fight over before the fifth round. However when the Dragon unloaded on Kimber in round three, Kimber dropped to the mat and referee Dan Stell counted him out on the floor, a count that went into the round break. Kimber never stood during the count and to this date, Kimber never fought again. It had been over eight years since Don last entered the ring, but his trademark sidekick was stronger than ever. Wilson picked up the IKF Cruiserweight World Title for his efforts and Kimber kept his promise when this one was over in round 3. Still to this day, Don's purse of $150,000 (Plus travel and some additional training expenses) is the highest purse EVER paid for a single bout . Having never been challenged for his title, Don voluntarily retired it to move down to the Light Heavyweight Division.

Don's Professional Kickboxing Record is 71 wins, 5 loses and 2 draws with 47 wins coming by the Knockout. He's been regarded as one of the greatest kickboxer of all time. Up and coming Amateur Kickboxers will get a chance to rub shoulders with him all weekend long because he will be "In The House" at the 2015 IKF World Classic Amateur Championship Tournament on JULY 24th, 25th & 26th, 2015, in Orlando, Florida, USA.

During his career Don won a total of 11 World Titles with several Sanctioning bodies that included the IKF, WKA, KICK, ISKA, STAR and the PKO. Never backing down from a challenge, Don has fought champions all around the world, in Hong Kong, Japan, Italy, Canada, Germany, Great Britain, Thailand, Las Vegas and countless other locations.

Over his career Wilson fought and defeated many Great fighters such as James Warring, Demetrius Edwards, Maurice Smith, Dennis Downey, Dennis Alexio, Branimir Cikatic, Mike Winkeljohn, Herb Thompson, Greg Smith, Muhammed Ashraf Tai, Panya Sornnoi, Pongdienoi Prasobchai, Rob Salazar, and a very controversial Draw against Jean-Yves Theriault which many thought Wilson clearly won.

After his first retirement from the ring, Wilson went on to yet another level of stardom as an action movie star. Movies to his credit include: The Last Sentinel (2007), Soft Target (2006), Sci-Fighter (2004), Stealing Harvard (2002), Redemption (2002), Moving Target (2000), The Capitol Conspiracy (1999), Whatever It Takes (1999), Inferno aka Operation Cobra (1998), Hollywood Safari (1997), Papertrail (1997), Night Hunter (1996), Virtual Combat (1996), Bloodfist VIII: Trained to Kill (1996), Cyber-Tracker 2 (1995), Bloodfist VII: Manhunt (1995), Batman Forever (1995), Ring of Fire 3: Lion Strike (1995), Bloodfist VI: Ground Zero (1995), Terminal Rush (1995), CyberTracker (1994), Red Sun Rising (1994), Bloodfist V: Human Target (1994), Out for Blood (1993), Ring of Fire II: Blood and Steel (1993), Bloodfist IV: Die Trying (1992), Blackbelt (1992), Bloodfist III: Forced to Fight (1992), Ring of Fire (1991), Future Kick (1991), Bloodfist II (1990), Bloodfist (1989) and Say Anything... (1989).

During this time Don married well known Film and Television Makeup artist Kathleen Karridene in 1996. They have three children together; Jonathan, Drayden, and Aubrianna. Over the course of his career Don won 11 world titles in 3 different weight divisions, something no other fighter has accomplished. Here is a list of his 11 World titles and some of his awards.
