    Defeated Rafid Haque (Atlanta, Georgia, USA, 1-3, 157.8, 5'9", 12-27-1995, Jeff Perry) by Unanimous Decision by all three judges in a 4th round overtime tie breaker.
    • Scores after three rounds:
      • Judge Mark Miles: 28-28.
      • Judge George Allen: 29-28.
      • Judge Ken Coffey: 28-28.
        • NOTE: Although there were several great fights, this was the best fight of the night! It was a war with both men landing great shots! Haque landed a big left hook on Bennett in Round one that clearly dazed him bringing referee Nate Mann to issue a standing eight count. Bennett came back strong in rounds two and three winning them on two of the judges' scorecards. At the end of round three, the fight was declared a draw.
          • The 4th and final round was about endurance and Bennett pulled off the Unanimous Decision victory, not only showing strong techniques but incredible will-power and conditioning! Great matchup and great entertainment for fight fans!

    Defeated Steven Barrow (Savannah, Georgia, USA, 0-1, 177.4 5'11", 3-19-1985, Brian Robertson) by Unanimous Decision
    • Judges Mark Miles, George Allen & Ken Coffey all scored the fight, 29-28 for Martinaz.
      • Juan Martinaz has been issued a 30 day no competition Medical Suspension until June 19th, 2018 by Dr. Andrea Hill.
        • NOTE: Martinaz noted a knee injury to Doctor Hill after the fight. After an examination, she suggested that he go in for an x-ray for further discovery.
          Martinaz will need a Release from his Doctor before his next fight.


  6. IKF Modified Muay Thai Rules / 235 and Up
    Tylando "TK" Mattress (Anderson, South Carolina, USA, 1-0, 259, 6', 7-13-1995, Blake Grice)
    Defeated Ron Woods (Oakwood, Georgia, USA, 1-2, 243, 6', 12-15-1973, Kelly Leo) by Technical Knockout due to Dr. Hill stopping the fight at 1:47 Seconds of Round 1.
    • Ron Woods was issued a 30 day no training and 45 day no competition medical suspension due to his TKO loss until July 3rd, 2018 by Dr. Andrea Hill.
    • NOTE: Woods was knocked down in round number one with a big, clean right hand that clearly hurt him. After an eight count by Referee Nate Mann, Woods would continue to fight. Although he did throw some offensive techniques, his defense was suspect as Mattress landed another barrage of punches that clearly dazed Woods again prompting Dr. Hill and IKF Representative Johnny Davis to stop the fight for the safety of Woods.
      • Woods, who is 44 years old… completed and passed his full physical and EKG before the fight. At weigh-ins, he complained of a slight headache that he claimed was from lack of caffeine. Later that day before the event, woods was approached by the IKF Representative to ask about his headache and he said he was just fine. The complaint of the earlier headache… although he said he was ok later…played a role in the early stoppage of the fight as well as the clean shots he was taking during the fight. After the fight, he complained of another headache and was sent to the hospital for a closer evaluation. He was diagnosed as dehydrated. Safety First!


  7. IKF Modified Muay Thai Rules / 153.1 - 159
    Cash Willis (Perry, Georgia, USA, 7-9-1, { Several PKB Bouts Too } AMMA: 0-1, 158.2, 6'1", 5-20-90, John Brown)
    And Anthony Brown (Charleston, South Carolina, USA, 2-2-1, 156.4, 5'9", 6-28-1997, Jeff Grady) Fought to a Draw.
    • Judge Mark Miles: 29-27- Brown.
    • Judge George Allen: 29-27- Willis.
    • Judge Ken Coffey: 28-28 - Draw.
      • NOTE: This bout consisted of a lot of clinching. Willis' exaggerated and, or extended clinch sent both men over the ropes twice in the fight. Referee Nate Mann who earlier warned Willis of the this type of clinch, gave him a point deduction. At the end of the fight, judges had the fight a draw. Instead of going a 4th round for a tie-breaker, IKF Representative Johnny Davis decided to leave the fight as draw due to one of the fighter's had taken off his gloves, as well as the lack-luster nature of the bout due to the fight - styles of fighters.

    Defeated Daishaun Middleton (Summerville, South Carolina, USA, 4-3, AMMA: 2-2, 5'9", 11-27-1990, Julius Brown) by Knockout at 1:59 Seconds of Round One
    • Daishaun Middleton was issued a 30 day no training and 45 day no competition medical suspension due to his KO loss until July 3rd, 2018 by Dr. Andrea Hill.
      • NOTE: Middleton went down after several hard body shots and an elbow to the head prompting Referee Nate Mann to stop the fight.

    • Judge Mark Miles: 48-46.
    • Judge George Allen: 49-44.
    • Judge Ken Coffey: 48-46.
      • NOTE: This was a great fight! Both men showed a lot of heart and skill! Chang received an eight count after being caught with a cross by Mathews. Chang thought there was a halt called by the referee… although there was not, and was caught off guard by the punch. For the remainder of the fight, Chang was aggressive and had some great moments! However, it was the technical game and precise techniques (particularly elbow strikes) thrown by Mathews that may have made the difference with the judges. Both men landed great shots throughout the bout! Both men should be proud as they represented the sport well!

Another IKF Champ Debuts In The UFC!

Two time IKF World Classic Champion Andrea Lee will be making her UFC MMA debut this weekend on UFC FIGHT NIGHT 129, May 19, 2018, at the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile.

Lee (PMMA: 8-2 ) will take on Veronica Macedo (PMMA: 5-1-1)

In 2014 Lee won what some call the "Triple Crown" of the most recognized tournaments in North America. She completed the sweep by winning the TBA, WKA and the 2014 IKF World Classic in Orlando, Florida. Lee won her IKF Women's Muay Thai Featherweight title (123.1. lbs. - 126 lbs. ) when she defeated Christy Tyquiengco (Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA, 9-5-1/0, S: 2-0, AB: 0-1, AMMA: 1-0) by unanimous decision 30-27, 30-27 & 29-28. It was the crowning of her amateur career coming off an 11 fight win streak. Undefeated in a amateur Muay Thai 10-0, amateur MMA, 8-3 and amateur boxing 9-2. 27-5 overall.

Lee had also won the 2013 IKF World Classic Muay Thai Lightweight Title (124.1 lbs. - 129 lbs.) when she defeated Tiffany Cass (Toronto, Ontario, Canada, 7-2-1) by split decision 29-27, 30-26 & 28-29. Prior to facing Cass Lee defeated undefeated Laura Salazar (Norwalk, California, USA, 3-1, AMMA: 3-0) by unanimous decision 30-27 on all 3 judges cards.

Andrea is trained by her husband Donny Aaron.

    A confident Manachai looked relaxed at the opening bell as most Thais always do, but current IKF British Champion, Southampton's Mo Abdurahman (PHOTO ) came straight at him, forcing a blistering pace. Although he looked unphased, Manachai was taking plenty of shots all round, especially low kicks and punches. Every now and again he showed his strength and authority by stepping up the pace or throwing Abdurahman to the canvas. It was clear that his plan was to take the fight into the later rounds and look for the stoppage.
    In round two there was no let up in the pace as Abdurahman started to include knee strikes in his attacks. Once again, when it suited, Manachai met him kick for kick and you had to wonder when he was going to begin his big assault, as the sheer work rate and effectiveness was working for Abdurahman.
    Coming out for the third Abdurahman stepped up yet another gear, walking through any return punishment. Manachai remained strong, throwing him off balance and to the ground a number of times. The exchanges were now brutal from both fighters and mid round a jumping knee caught Manachai flush in the face. He struck back hard with rib kicks and as they moved in to clinch a looping right hand sent him to the canvas. It was clear he would not rise and he was counted out! An absolutely fantastic win for the huge underdog, who now sits amongst the best in the world. It is worth remembering that previous to this contest Manachai had never lost by stoppage to a European fighter.
    Mo Abdurahman shocked the Muay Thai world with a 3rd round KO of Lumpinee Stadium Champion Manachai Yokkao.
    WINNER: Mo Abdurahman by KO at 2:17 of round 3.

    In a night of shocks the UK number one Jake Purdy came unstuck against a determined Ammari Diedrich. The two had met previously with Purdy taking the spoils, but on this occasion Diedrich was not interested in a repeat performance. A fast start saw neither man looking for overtime, and Purdy looked comfortable and temporarily in control. Diedrich put pressure on early and Purdy seemed happy to stand and exchange. A body shot from nowhere saw Purdy hurt and he soon went to the canvas. Making the count it was clear that he was in pain as Diedrich closed in and repeated the shots to send Purdy down again, this time for the full count. Another devastating performance from the underdog.
    WINNER: Ammari Diedrich by KO at 2:18 of round 1.
    Jake Purdy receives a 45 day IKF medical suspension until 14th June 2018.

    The stylish Bernie Mendietta made a solid return to the ring after an absence of two years, but took no easy option in the solid and capable Shaq Davies. Davies clearly fancied the task and took the fight straight to Mendietta, who looked sharp with counter punches and low kicks. Both men displayed quality Muay Thai skills and there was very little in it for the first two rounds.
    It was in the third that Mendietta started to pull away. Tidy and more accurate skills saw him find the target more often, but Davies continued to pile on the pressure throughout. At the final bell, a competitive contest saw the victory awarded to Bernie Mendietta.
    WINNER: Bernie Mendietta by unanimous decision, 50-46, 50-45, 48-47

    These two certainly came to fight as they tore into each other from the opening bell. Every exchange was a possible KO for either man and it was clear that this would be no distance contest. As we approached the end of the round Anstey dropped a huge elbow onto the top of Faisals head, opening a 2 inch gash. The bell rang, the doctor inspected and the contest was over. An emphatic return by Darren Anstey.
    WINNER: Darren Anstey by doctors stoppage (cut) at the end of round 1.

The IKF/PKB Is The ONLY California State Athletic Commission "APPROVED" Semi-Contact Kickboxing and or Muay Thai Competition and the ONLY "Sanctioned" Semi Contact Kickboxing / Muay Thai Rules Set In California! ANY OTHER EVENT resembling the IKF/PKB competition or even using the words "Kickboxing" and or "Muay Thai" or "Muaythai" in their advertisements and is not sanctioned by the IKF or IKF/PKB is considered an unsanctioned Illegal event. This includes ALL AGES of athletes, fighters or participants whether in a boxing ring, MMA cage or floor / matted floor competition.

ANY OTHER EVENT resembling the IKF/PKB competition or even using the words "Kickboxing" and or "Muay Thai" or "Muaythai" in their advertisements and is not sanctioned by the IKF or IKF/PKB is considered an Unsanctioned Illegal event.
